ABOUT
HEY, I’M SID.
UX engineer and HCI researcher. I turn research into experiences people actually enjoy using, from VR research studies to React interfaces.
I am finishing a master’s in Human-Computer Interaction at Indiana University Indianapolis, and I build the things I design.
OPEN TO CONVERSATIONS
01
PRINCIPLE
START BY LISTENING
Good design starts with questions. I interview, observe and dig into the research before I open a design tool.
02
PRINCIPLE
DISABLED PEOPLE ARE EXPERTS IN THEIR ADAPTATIONS
I design for independence, dignity and variability, and treat the ways people adapt as design knowledge.
03
PRINCIPLE
KEEP DESIGN AND CODE CLOSE
I prototype and build in code so designs keep their intent through handoff.

Finishing my master’s in HCI in May 2027, working full stack at The Polis Center and as a research assistant for two professors: VR research with Professor Ekaterina Muravevskaia at the SETH Lab and research games with Professor Ming Chen. Dragon Tower, one of those games, is part of the Game Exhibition at Meaningful Play 2026 in Pittsburgh. Always happy to talk with peers, faculty and anyone curious about accessible, human-centered technology.
